Christmas is full of lights, gifts ... and also sweets. And if there is a typical ingredient for these dates, it is the almond with which sweets such as nougat or marzipan are made, so we encourage you to cook with the children.

Children are the ones who enjoy the Christmas holidays the most, but with so many free hours they can get bored. If you want to do fun family activities, we suggest this recipe for christmas marzipan step by step, a simple and festive Christmas recipe.

  • 250 gr. icing sugar
  • 250 gr. ground almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 egg white

Tips: You can give it the shape you like best by cutting shapes with a cutter or a knife. You can also model dolls by shaping them with the dough as if it were plasticine.

1. In a deep bowl, place the sugar, almonds and water. Knead for about 10 minutes, until you get a homogeneous dough.

2. Once obtained, the figurines are made with the molds that we have.

3. Using a pastry brush, paint the figurines with egg white and place them on a tray lined with parchment paper.

4. They are baked for 2 minutes at 200ºC. After the time has elapsed and checking that they are golden brown, remove the tray from the oven and let them cool. When they are cold, they are placed on the tray, or stored in a plastic food preservation bag, until they are ready to eat.
