Hyperthyroidism is a disease that does not occur frequently during childhood, but there are cases. It is estimated that it affects 5% of the world's child population.

How long will my child need to take hyperthyroidism? The treatment usually lasts a year or a year and a half. There are children who need more time to stabilize their metabolism. But it will never be older than four years. Childhood hyperthyroidism tends to remit little by little thanks to this treatment.
