One of the knowledge that children will have to learn in school is the planets that make up the solar system.
On our site we propose a different way to learn them with this simple craft of paper mache. Children will be able to learn not only which planets make up the solar system, but also how to work with papier-mâché.
- 1 glass with water
- White glue
- An old umbrella
- Diary paper
We teach you to make the solar system with balloons and an old umbrella, a great activity that will entertain children and with which they can learn about the planets.
1- Inflate a balloon and stick with white glue mixed in water pieces of newspaper on it. You will have to do several layers to make it homogeneous. Let it dry for at least one night. Go through this process with the eight planets of the solar system. Remember to make them in different sizes.
2- Paint each globe the color of the planet: red for Mars or blue for Saturn.
3- Tie string to the end of each balloon.
4- Remove the cloth from an old umbrella and tie each planet on one of the rods.
